Frustrated, exasperated, annoyed, crazy....tat's what i feel now...why oh why is the internet connection so slow in the hostel? *sigh* ...anyways...sorry for the boring and moody entries lately... hehe...i've got the photos already....thx Jas, Jingwen and YouXin:)
Tuesday, 24th October 2006 Tuesday!!! we "celebrated" Hari Raya in Suntec City... At the Bus Stop outside NJC....Yingxu just wouldn't take any photos...camera shy..hehe..the more we try to catch her the more she run..she just won't let us take a few shots of her...  That's Jas and me!!!

 See the survivor poster? That's our year end celebration poster..."survivor" means that we've survived one year of Junior college life... which to me is a miracle...WHew!!!
 hehe.. NJC side gate, we hate it when it's close, it means that we have to take the main gate that's half an hours walk away...
We kinda dilly dally the day away...went to the biennele (i must go there again!!!)-it's an art exhibition in City Hall...twas interesting but we didn't have much time coz we left Jingwen in Raffles Place and promised to meet her in an hour.. We had dinner at Subway...  At Subway...haha...Gotcha!!!Food makes Yingxu oblivious to Jingwen's cam!!!
 
Hmmm...does Jas and I look alike? Our Hall Mentor and other people always mix us up... At night, we hung out in SUntecCity... Jingwen hasn't been there before, so we took some piccis...oh..the last time we hung out there was with out seniors who took us out on the last day of 2005 for new year count down. That time was also the first time we stayed out after hostel curfew...Talk about good influence!!!:) We sat by the road that night learning to play bridge too!!!  I love the night lights...they're so pretty

Quite a tiring day...walked all over the place, and had to walk ouselves up the hostel slope too...*sigh* . I got some art paper, as usual to make cards and we saw lotz of stuff!!! ANyway...it was quite fun, glad that we had this last outing together, UntiL next YeAr!!!
Wednesday, 25th October 2006 Muahahaha...i shall laugh at those who didn't go ...okok...but today was super fun!!! Morning we had SPA Skill C...after that, there was a small birthday celebration for Oct Babes and etc...( me included)... then we had Tech run...Then CAmE the FuN!!!! We went to the Officer Cadet School (OCS, the place where some of the Singaporean guys go 4 national service) for a visit...hehe..i think there were ard 70++ of us..not sure.. hmm..but it was fun...we got to handle weapons, posed with cute cadets..hehe.. and see all the special places that people don't usually get to see...ohh...we even visited their bunks...and their toilet... The place is really quite cool...more like a chalet or 4-star resort than a training camp... and not everybody, not even all the National service guys get to go there, only the selected ones attend that training site. The ones selected are those with leadership and special qualities...hehe...so it's like WOAh, we walking among the elite there...oh...you know what, SIngapore's PM Lee Hsien Loong's son is attending OCS too  Our first impression of OCS  "In OCS, you either march or run..." quoted by Raj, our guide:).

The cadets undergo a 3.5km obstacle course with a 12kg load...and so we tried out 0.01111% of it. We did one of the obstacles--- walking the Rope...The girls did it in skirts hehe...  Walking the tight rope..."The music stopped, and she died..."--- a puzzle question that Yun Rui made us guess while we were in the dining hall, waiting for the rain to stop...
before that... we got ambushed!!! walking along a short stretch of their obstacle course, some cadets fired blanks at us...well..hehe..of course they had to be blanks..but whew!!! they did scare the daylights our of us...To think that no one among us noticed them also..Walau! ! ! oh and when we looked ard, we thought we saw some of them high up on a slope...but when they reveal themselves, there were a few that were just a few feet from us....Man!!! we're so blind.... Hmm..we climbed up the control tower there...supposed to be 9+ storeys high with 265 steps( symbolizes each of their training days in the year)  Waiting for our turn to go up, oh...u see the two cadets? They were our guides...

The new cadets were the ones who took us ard.. their seniors were having some overseas stint and just got back but couldn't be found... i got to try their weapon...as in really fire them...well...nah..i didn't like it..my finger just went soft and it took me eternity and 3 fingers in the end to press the trigger... Paiseh... But the rest like Beatrice and Grace were so steady with it...how they do it i don't know..but they definitely can join Ns if they want to.. ohh...we got to try army food...hmm...i wouldn't say much about it..but it's edible...(i supposed, not entirely sure).. but tell you the flavours. there's tandori chicken rice, normal chicken rice( all wrapped in packets), and biscuits that taste quite hard.... Some of the rest are instant milo, maggie and stuff like that.. we were told that the ones we tasted were old rations. The new ones are " supposed" to be better...hmmm..you think abt itlah...
Thursday, 26th October 2006 Technically the last day of school... since when do we have real holidays? The lectures were really empty, people simple pon.. But we KI students will not do that...not when we have a Ki class party to look forward too..hehe.. we ordered pizza and played "Taboo" hehe..super funny. Letz see, we discovered that Wan Ru cannot express herself without gestures...haha..but then her pinnochio nose grows out of her head...Mr. Dio concluded that she has to make up for her soft voice with gestures...hmmm..makes sense Then Haikal had to make us guess " Yo-Yo".. So happen that his sirename is Yeo,so he said: " What's my sire name?" "Yeo..." "Now say it twice..." "Yeo...Yeo.." That's it! After school, Jiesi and Wan Ru cameto my hostel, hehe, teman me back. They wanted to come into the compound, but then visitors not allowed. *sigh*, i thought they would slacken the rules since it's the hols but anways...i shouldn't have assumed... So we went exploring around Hwa Chong and talk a lot a lot of crap...hehe...then she tried calling her bro who study's there...couldn't get him, so we continued talking until suddenly he was standing next to her...FreAkY!!! It started raining and so home we went... Me to my korean drama...Muahaha...Watching My Girl!!! |
